The Car Free Day (HBKB) that takes place in Kota Tua, West Jakarta, Sunday (5/17), was enthusiastically welcomed by local people. No wonder, those crowded in one of Jakarta top recreational sites in Jakarta.

As experienced by Baim, (25), he was willing to participate the event from his distant home located at Jalan Kebantenan, RT 002/04, Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

“Indeed, I often participate in the car free day. I heard before that it would be held in Kota Tua, so I decided to come and visit the Art and Ceramic Museum,” he expressed.

As quoted by beritajakarta.com, there are various exercises held in such event, starting from jogging, cycling, gymnastic, until futsal.

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi who participated the event stated that another car free day is once again held today. This is because, since last January, it was held in each sub-district in West Jakarta.

“In the future, we will re-held it routinely every month in the second week,” he stressed.
